Payton Minear is a teaching professional at Pine Brook Country Club.

Payton has been playing golf for 23 years and enjoys helping others fall (more) in love with the game she loves most. Growing up, golf was and continues to be a family sport for her. Her passion for teaching began at age seven when she started teaching her Grandma how to golf. She began her career in teaching early at the age of 16 and continues to seek ways to better herself as an instructor on the daily. Payton graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with her degree in PGA Golf Management and have since been traveling North and South as a seasonal professional.

Payton currently teach in Florida and in Massachusetts. She also provide Virtual Swing Analysis and Live Instruction on the CoachNow mobile app. Payton enjoys working with people of all walks of life, and all skill levels and abilities. She truly believes that we all have our own unique swings, and focuses on providing her students with what their swing style and body type demands. Simplicity is a big key with her instruction, and she looks for the fewest possible changes that they need to make in order to improve ball contact and outcome. Short-game improvement, full swing, trouble shots, course management, mental performance, pre/post shot routines, and on-course instruction are just a few of the areas we could improve in your game together.

Before coming to Pine Brook, Payton taught at the CC of Darien (CT), Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course (Iowa) Longview Golf Course, The Water’s Edge CC (VA), Gulf Harbour Yacht & CC (FL) and was the Junior Golf Director at Hyperion Field Club (Iowa). Payton is also an Advanced Certified Instructor of Bobby Clampett’s Impact Zone Golf.
